Our wellbeing exercise classes
Exercise referral
The Exercise Referral Scheme provides personalised fitness plans for Horsham District residents who receive referrals from their GP or healthcare provider through the Horsham District Council wellbeing team. Over three months, you’ll work with our trained exercise specialists who create and guide you through activities explicitly designed to help prevent, improve, or manage your health condition. The program requires at least one weekly session with our Exercise Referral coordinator, ensuring you receive consistent support throughout your wellness journey.
Falls prevention
Our Falls Prevention Classes help seniors and those with reduced mobility build strength and stability in a safe, supportive setting. Led by qualified instructors in small groups, each session focuses on exercises that boost coordination and confidence in everyday movements. After a brief screening and fall risk assessment, you’ll join weekly classes tailored to your abilities—available to members and non-members, with a discounted rate for existing members.
Senior classes
Our senior fitness classes combine physical activity with social connection. They are created explicitly for older adults who want to maintain strength, mobility, and balance. We offer a variety of options, including:
- Senior Fit
