A Walk-Over in the Park

Bluecoats 1st team secured a perfect 20-0 score over Chichester this month; however after a closer look it’s not quite as impressive as it seems.

The team did win on the night, only captain Tony Fiveash (in an impressive 2-3 encounter) and No.1 Kit Pearman (forced to retire mid match due to an almighty ankle injury; I heard he was lucky the doctors haven’t amputated) lost a well balanced fixture.

However the away team did field an ineligible player and therefore had to hand the entire match to Bluecoats.

No such luck for the 2nd team though, as two defeats this month see them prop up DIV.3

Bluecoats III are flying high in DIV.4, this month seeing two wins and one defeat. Plus the welcome return to competitive Squash for both Ross Barnes and Mike Tydd.

Jon Tucker’s 4th team had one game and one defeat this month and are looking to recruit a few extra players for the second half of the season, so don’t be shy!
